The New York State Early Intervention Program (EIP) offers an array of therapeutic and support services to eligible infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. Children should be referred to EI when they have a suspected developmental delay or when they have a diagnosed physical or mental condition that likely will result in a developmental delay.
